History Of Beverage Tractor in Danville

Beverage Tractor was established in 1987 by Charlie Beverage Jr. and his father, Charlie Beverage Sr., and has been a trusted provider of agricultural and construction equipment in Virginia for over three decades.

In 2021, the company expanded into Danville through the acquisition of Collie Equipment, a well-respected local business built by Jim Shields and his team. This transition allowed Beverage Tractor to continue serving the Danville community while preserving the strong foundation Collie Equipment established.

In February 2025, Beverage Tractor relocated its Danville operations to a new facility at 1525 South Boston Road to enhance operational capacity and better serve customers. The upgraded location reflects the company’s long-term commitment to Southside Virginia and continued growth in construction and equipment support
